silver linings

A national homecoming and educational forum for cancer survivors, their families and supporters, the last Silver Linings was in Davao City in 2011, following successful salvos in Manila (2005) and Cebu City (2008).

The event draws at least a thousand participants nationwide and unites different cancer patient groups in the country. It provides a venue and opportunity for any cancer survivor to feel hope collectively with fellow cancer survivors.

There have been follow up mini-forums for different mass-based patient groups in the country introducing topics like “Promoting Patient Power,” “Patient Counseling” and “Patient Navigation.”
